POMPANO BEACH, FL, March 23, 2022<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Cushman & Wakefield\u2019s\u00a0South Florida Industrial Team<\/a>\u00a0negotiated a full-building lease with\u00a0BayWa r.e. Solar Systems, LLC<\/a>\u00a0at Pompano Industrial Center on behalf of building owner\u00a0Black Creek Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Cushman & Wakefield team of\u00a0Matt McAllister<\/a>,\u00a0Chris Metzger<\/a>,\u00a0Rick Etner<\/a>, and\u00a0Christopher Thomson<\/a>\u00a0represented Denver-based Black Creek Group in the lease negotiations.\u00a0Skylar Stein<\/a>,\u00a0Wayne Ramoski<\/a>, and\u00a0Gian Rodriguez<\/a>\u00a0in Cushman & Wakefield\u2019s Miami office represented BayWa.<\/p>\n

Santa Fe, NM-based BayWa r.e. Solar Systems LLC is a leading U.S. distributor of solar and energy storage components and systems. The company serves local, independent installers by offering best-in-class photovoltaic products, forecasting, consulting, and customer support. BayWa r.e. Solar Systems LLC is a subsidiary of\u00a0BayWa AG<\/a>, a German retail and agribusiness conglomerate based in Munich.<\/p>\n

The lease represents BayWa\u2019s entry in the South Florida market. The company will utilize the space at Pompano Industrial Center for warehouse, distribution, and administrative purposes. BayWa moved into the building on March 1.<\/p>\n

Pompano Industrial Center features \u00b15,489 square feet of office space, six dock-high doors, one drive-in door, 18-foot ceiling heights, 30-foot by 34-foot column spacing, and ESFR (Early Suppression, Fast Response) fire safety system. The building\u2019s location at\u00a02151 Blount Road<\/a>\u00a0provides exceptional access to both Interstate 95 and Florida\u2019s Turnpike.<\/p>\n

\u201cPompano Industrial Center is ideally located for BayWa\u2019s warehouse and distribution needs,” said McAllister. \u201cThe facility\u2019s position offers the shortest drive to both I-95 and Florida\u2019s Turnpike in Broward County, providing efficient routing to customers in the local market and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n
