The Team of Christopher Thomson, Chris Metzger, Richard F. Etner Jr. and Matthew G. McAllister Negotiated a Long-Term\u00a0Lease with the Lab Equipment Manufacturer<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

BOYNTON BEACH, FL, February 13, 2019<\/strong> \u2014 Cushman & Wakefield<\/a> has negotiated a 52,505-square-foot headquarters lease renewal with Quantachrome Instruments<\/a> at Boynton Commerce Center in Palm Beach County.<\/p>\n

The Cushman & Wakefield South Florida Industrial Team of Christopher Thomson<\/a>, Chris Metzger<\/a>, Richard F. Etner, Jr.<\/a> and Matthew G. McAllister<\/a> represented Boynton Commerce Center, LLC<\/a>, an affiliate of building owner Principal Life Insurance Company<\/a>, in the renewal negotiations. Quantachrome Instruments was represented by Robert Smith of CBRE.<\/p>\n

Quantachrome Instruments was founded in 1968 and is headquartered at 1900 Corporate Drive<\/a> in Boynton Commerce Center. The company has emerged as a global leader in the design and manufacture of lab instruments capable of characterizing porous materials and powders. Quantachrome employs 170 people in the building in research, development and production roles.<\/p>\n

In February 2018, Quantachrome was acquired by the Anton Paar Group<\/a>, an Austrian company specializing in the production and sale of analytical instruments and technology for use in the robotics, automation, food and beverage, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The Anton Paar Group employs 2,900 people in sales and production roles at 36 international sites throughout Europe and the United States. Quantachrome represents the Anton Paar Group\u2019s first North American manufacturing facility.<\/p>\n

Boynton Commerce Center is a two-phase, \u00b125.0-acre industrial\/flex park comprising five buildings totaling 295,000 square feet. The park is located near the interchange of Interstate 95 and Woolbright Road offering excellent access to Palm Beach International Airport and the Port of Palm Beach.<\/p>\n
